What information syncs with Google Business Profiles?

Once integrated, a defined set of profile details are automatically sent to your Google Business Profile.

If you've integrated your Google Business Profile with your ATDW Profile, we send a defined set of profile details through to Google to keep your Google Business Profile aligned with your ATDW profile. This helps present a consistent story to visitors—no matter where they discover your business.

What information is synced with my Google Business Profile?

When your ATDW profile is connected or Integrated with your Google Business Profile, the following fields are eligible to sync to your Google Business Profile:

Synced Content

How it Syncs to your Google Business Profile

Business Name

The business name entered in your ATDW profile is used as the name on your Google Business Profile.

Business Type

Your Product Category (for example, accommodation, attraction, tour) is mapped to a relevant business category on Google.

Address

The physical street address from your ATDW profile is used for the location shown in Google Search and Maps.

Phone number

The primary phone number in ATDW is used for the click‑to‑call option on your Google Business Profile.

Website URL

The website URL/link in your ATDW Profile is used as the main website link on your Google Business Profile.

Description

Your Product Description is used to provide an overview of your business on Google, helping visitors understand what you offer.

Opening Hours

Standard opening hours set in ATDW are synced to your Google Business Profile to show when your business is open.

Product Image/s

Selected photos/images from your ATDW profile are made available to appear on your Google Business Profile, helping showcase your experience to potential visitors.


What does not sync?

Other ATDW fields—such as booking details, accessibility information, inclusions, or additional content—do not automatically sync to Google. These can be managed directly in your Google Business Profile if needed.

How changes appear on Google

When your profile is connected to your Google Business Profile, any updates to these synced fields in ATDW will flow through to your Google Business Profile. Timing can vary, so changes may not appear immediately. It is recommended to:

  • Make updates in ATDW first, so your source record remains your single source of truth.

  • Allow time for changes to process before checking your Google Business Profile.

  • Avoid editing the same fields directly in Google, as this can create inconsistencies or trigger review.

By keeping these synced fields up to date in ATDW, you help ensure visitors see accurate, consistent information about your business across both the ATDW network and Google’s surfaces.
